According to Wu Blockchain, a community user revealed that one individual lost 1,010 ETH within 12 hours after clicking on an old bookmarked link (the former official domain tornado.cash, which had been hijacked) and landing on a phishing website. Reportedly, due to OFAC sanctions, the Tornado Cash team was unable to renew the original domain tornado.cash after it expired, allowing phishing attackers to register it and set up a fake front-end to steal deposit credentials. Victim tracking shows that the stolen funds are currently sitting in the hacker's address, and the group is suspected of using similar methods to steal nearly 4,000 ETH over the past 12 months. Security experts warn: When using decentralized privacy tools like Tornado Cash, do not trust outdated domains. Always verify through official IPFS/ENS gateways and carefully check contract interaction details. https://www.(wublock123.com)/news/news-66879
