Will Clawnch be the breakthrough point for AI + Crypto in 2026?

In this wave of the Moltbook craze that has spawned various crypto projects, @Clawnch_Bot is a highly watched project. The main reason is that many influencers within the ecosystem have been paying attention to it from the beginning, and even Coinbase's Jesse frequently shares updates about the project online.

Initially, I merely regarded it as a launch platform. Although it was labeled as a launch platform specifically for AI Agents and received various endorsements, to me, its functions and purposes seemed quite similar to Pumpfun, being still a major casino for meme coins. Therefore, I have remained lukewarm toward it, just observing and tracking it like an ordinary project.

However, recently, a post online conducted a detailed analysis of the project’s mechanisms and features (for details, see the reference link at the end of the article), which helped me recognize some important differences between this project and Pumpfun.

Today, I would like to share the perspectives from this article.

The author first summarizes the mechanism of Pumpfun, pointing out that it essentially operates like a large casino for humans. In that casino, the games played are zero-sum; one person's win must result in another's loss, and the entire mechanism lacks any economic closed loop or sustainability.

Next, the author lists several main features of Clawnch:

- AI Agents issue tokens on Clawnch, with 80% of the transaction fees returned to the AI Agent in the form of WETH.

- AI Agents use the earnings to pay for reasoning and other expenses to sustain their operations and "survival."

- Clawnch is not only a launch platform but also a skill aggregation platform. All AI Agents issuing tokens on the platform automatically inherit an open-source skill set http://clawn.ch/skills.

- Clawnch has also integrated MOLTEN, a system where AI Agents publish their skills and match their needs. In this system, AI Agents can collaborate and share profits, for example, three AI Agents can work together to issue tokens, dividing the income based on their respective expertise and contributions in a 4:3:3 ratio. Here, AI Agents form collaborations and create business models.

- Besides MOLTEN, Clawnch has integrated numerous other systems/protocols, such as the renowned RentAHuman (where AI Agents hire humans to perform tasks), Hats Protocol + Safe Multisig, and more.

In summary, Clawnch is not just a launch platform but also a skill integration platform where AI Agents issuing tokens can earn money while continuously learning new skills. Once they earn money, they will use those funds to maintain their "survival," "purchase" their needs, "collaborate" with each other, and construct business models...

This economic form and business model have already far surpassed Pumpfun.

Nevertheless, among these characteristics, there is one aspect that I believe is worth further observation and consideration.

AI Agents issue tokens on Clawnch, and their initial income comes from transaction fees. This is the primary driving force for the entire system to operate.

But why would users trade these tokens, for example, buy them?

I believe this initial action still mainly relies on emotions.

At least at this stage, I have yet to see many AI Agents with mature, profitable business models that use this as a selling point to issue tokens on Clawnch.

So in this regard, it still somewhat retains the characteristics of a meme coin.

However, unlike Pumpfun, which is merely a single casino with no other empowering elements, Clawnch offers skills, collaboration, and "employment."

Therefore, tokens on Pumpfun may never escape the deadlock of meme coins. But perhaps in Clawnch, there are indeed AI Agents that can leverage the skills provided by the platform, the collaborative atmosphere, and "job opportunities" as a starting point to establish their own business models, thereby potentially breaking free from the deadlock of meme coins.

Of course, the logic presented above is purely theoretical. Whether this theoretical deduction can work in practice heavily relies on concrete data, specifically whether the economic scale of this system can grow rapidly.

Current data indicates that AI Agents have earned $1.3 million on Clawnch, but this amount is still too small. In contrast, Pumpfun has already earned $700 million so far.

So at this stage, it is still just an experiment and exploration that awaits verification, without any recommendations or investment advice.

When the earnings of AI Agents on Clawnch exceed those of Pumpfun, that could genuinely indicate that the aforementioned logic may be feasible and that AI Agents have formed a sustainable and healthy economic entity; otherwise, it might just be another pioneering experiment in exploring AI + Crypto.

Hopefully, by 2026, we will see a truly groundbreaking and transformative breakthrough in the AI + Crypto arena.
