On August 31, ETH spot ETF total holdings continued to rise to 6,255,941.81 ETH, with a net inflow of 51,997.34 ETH on the day, marking the 12th consecutive trading day of net inflows.
Compared to the 32,563.57 ETH inflow on August 28, the daily inflow increased by nearly 60%, indicating that the slowdown in inflows from the previous trading day did not worsen further. Although the 51,997 ETH inflow is still below the recent 7-day average daily inflow of approximately 63,578 ETH, the capital flow remains very stable, and total holdings continue to hit new highs for this phase.
From a cyclical perspective, ETH remains significantly stronger than BTC. Over the past 7 trading days, there has been a cumulative net inflow of 445,044.60 ETH. Since the beginning of August, holdings have increased by 791,814.01 ETH, a growth of 14.49%. Since 2026, there has also been a net increase of 140,474.24 ETH, representing a 2.30% growth.
Currently, BTC is still in the phase of recovering its year-to-date lost holdings, while ETH has already completed its recovery and entered a phase of net expansion. The strength gap in capital flows between the two over the past month remains unchanged.
