[Hormuz Strait Reopening Expectations Rise, Qatar Increases LNG Loading Operations]
BlockBeats News, August 11: Qatar's liquefied natural gas (LNG) loading volume has surged to its highest level since March, indicating the country is preparing for the potential reopening of the Hormuz Strait. The daily LNG loading volume at Ras Laffan Port is approximately 80,000 tons, though this figure remains about 60% lower compared to the same period last year. Seven out of Qatar's 14 LNG production lines show signs of operation, suggesting production is gradually recovering after disruptions caused by conflict. However, whether exports can fully recover still depends on shipping access through the Hormuz Strait. Diplomatic negotiations are currently underway, but there is no guarantee an agreement will be reached.
