Recently, I've been trading SK and ADR every day—kind of addicted to it. I automatically wake up at 8 a.m., check the news, and see that the Korean stock market is up, and SK is also rising. So, I decided not to open any positions and went back to sleep. When I woke up again, I saw SK was still climbing, and the ADR contract SKHYUSDT was also doing pretty well. I thought there wouldn’t be any opportunities today and planned to sleep a bit more. But then I noticed something interesting—although SK was doing okay, SKHYNIXUSDT showed a slight dip. It felt like they were out of sync. Plus, SKHYUSDT had pulled back from $132 to around $130. I realized SK had gone up 4% and seemed to stall there. It was the same during the morning open—it rose 4% and then started pulling back. So, I decided to try shorting it. I was pretty torn about where to short, though. After testing a bit, I placed orders at $130 and $131. In the end, my $130 short got filled, but the $131 one didn’t. At first, I was a bit worried that my judgment might be off, but then I saw the trend shift from rising to falling. As of now, SK is down 6%, and SKHYNIXUSDT is down about 3%. There are less than three hours until the market closes. My plan is to wait and see—if there are signs of a rebound, I’ll take a smaller profit and exit. But if the downtrend continues, I’ll hold on until tonight. @Gate Crypto, U.S. stocks, Hong Kong stocks, Korean stocks, gold, CFDs, prediction markets—all-in-one trading platform.
