At this point in the bear market, I’m already numb. Bulls, bears—none of it excites me anymore, and even the arguments in the group chats have died down. The traders still holding on are looking forward to the next $BTC cycle. Deep down, we all know the halving is a supply shock written into the code—there’s been no exception in the past three cycles. I’m not all-in either, just playing around with small funds in contracts, saving the rest of my ammo for when the extremes show up. Is this wishful thinking? No, it’s strategy.
Of course, I know the halving doesn’t guarantee an immediate pump—there are countless black swans waiting in the middle. But isn’t a trader’s skill all about handling uncertainty? Manage your positions, and leave the rest to time. As long as your capital is intact and you’re still in the game when the opportunity comes, that’s enough.
These days, I just do what I need to do—watch the charts when I need to, review my trades when I need to, and sleep when I need to. When your mindset is steady, your actions won’t go off track. When the halving day finally arrives, no matter if it pumps or dumps, I’ll be ready to face it calmly. Because hope has never been in that one candlestick—it’s in my trading system.
