Why did I say “F the Republican Party & F the Democrat Party” during my debate against @sethmoulton? I’m saying it to party leadership and party establishments - not voters. Because the only bipartisan thing in Washington is corruption and grift. Ed Markey and Seth Moulton are arguing over which one of them is cashing in on government service. Imagine that. @EdMarkey who’s been in office for 53 years and never collected a real paycheck in his entire adult life - who’s wife has worked for NGOs for decades, also collecting from taxpayers is criticizing @sethmoulton for making millions investing in defense contractors that he oversees on his subcommittee in Congress. Seth has fired back saying Ed has done the same. Two career politicians arguing about who’s public service grift is worse. Markey and other Democrats talk about all the things they will do once they regain the Senate, House and Presidency: Medicare For All, Green New Deal, etc. Hey Ed, you had control with @BarackObama and @JoeBiden and you guys did nothing but expand the national Debt and create skyrocketing inflation. @realDonaldTrump and the Republicans promised a lot of change once they got control. The Republicans have the House, Senate and Presidency yet, nothing seems to be able to get done. Where are the spending cuts? Where’s the waste, fraud and abuse reduction cuts? Instead, they have proposed increasing defense spending to $1.5 Trillion for a Department of Defense that hasn’t passed an audit in 12 years. The military industrial complex wins every time - no matter the president or who controls the government. We can’t get something as important and nonpartisan, like financial innovation with the Clarity Act, across the finish line? OVER ETHICS? Fucking ethics?
