According to Reuters citing The Information, data analytics company Databricks is in discussions with investors for a new round of funding, targeting a valuation exceeding $130 billion, approximately 30% higher than its $100 billion valuation two months ago. The company has not signed a term sheet with any institution and declined to comment. Previously, Databricks stated its annualized revenue is approximately $4 billion and plans to accelerate its AI strategy and product expansion, as well as advance AI acquisitions and research. Founded in 2013, Databricks has around 15,000 customers, including Block, Shell, and Rivian.
