But to be honest, when I thought of this layer, I suddenly considered why AI should use "human" payment methods. Will there be specialized payment methods designed for AI and AI Agents in the future, such as computing power, electricity, or APIs, which would be better than stablecoins valued in fiat currency?

Some friends might say that computing power, electricity, or other energy sources essentially still use fiat currency. Even the tokens we buy with AI are purchased with fiat currency. But here's the interesting part: why does AI actually consume tokens rather than directly consuming fiat currency?

Or in the AI world, the lowest level of consumption may not necessarily be fiat currency. For example, if my AI leans toward macroeconomics, it needs to access technical information that it does not possess. Therefore, when it interacts with other AIs, what currency is best to pay the other party for "knowledge payment"? If it is fiat currency, the other AI might also need to convert it into tokens to maintain its "computation."

Furthermore, fiat currency cannot directly purchase computing power. Computing power is actually produced from resources, energy, and time; it is a multidimensional result. If computing power is used directly as a trading tool, then AI can save resources, energy, and time, directly transforming them into productivity.

Of course, I am just playing around with ideas. I completely agree with the class-skipping king that stablecoins may act as a ceiling-breaking payment method for AI Agents for a period of time. However, in the future, the currency used by AI Agents is likely not to be stablecoins born from the fiat currency system, but may be computing power, energy, or various AI currencies that can be directly converted into productivity.
