On December 4, the incubator MEETLabs announced the official launch of the large-scale 3D fishing blockchain game DeFishing.

As the first blockchain game on MEETLabs' gaming platform GamingFi, DeFishing will debut on the BNB Chain and will introduce a combination mechanism of Proof of Play (POP) and Proof of Staking (POS): players can earn token rewards from the POP prize pool through gaming activities, completing game tasks, and participating in event rankings, as well as earn POS rewards through token staking.

With the official launch of DeFishing, four major official events will also kick off, including a digital asset gift package (which can be exchanged for game tokens GSC - GoldShark Coin using an airdrop voucher), a registration gift package (with a trial experience of up to 100K GSC), an invitation reward (both parties can receive game token rewards), and a first recharge gift package in the mall (which includes limited items).

It is reported that the gaming platform GamingFi will implement a dual-token system and a "deflation + mining" mechanism, which includes the MEET48 official token IDOL for ecological governance, community incentives, and staking, and the platform's universal game token GFT (GamingFi Token), which promises never to be increased. In addition, GamingFi has designed a transparent GFT token destruction mechanism, regularly publishing black hole addresses and synchronously transferring mining reward GFT tokens to the mining pool to ensure system fairness and token value.

Currently, the universal game token GFT on the GamingFi platform has been launched on DEX. With the economic model of the GamingFi platform, players can not only earn through the P2E blockchain games on the platform but also leverage the platform's deflation mechanism for additional P2E opportunities.

In the future, the GamingFi platform will also release multiple blockchain game products, including the MonopolyChain game, further expanding MEET48's layout in the Web3 entertainment industry as an important incubation project of MEETLabs, enhancing the value of the IDOL token and further consolidating the community strength of MEET48.
