This application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) chip has been mass-produced in Waymo's latest generation of autonomous taxis, improving the vehicles' reaction speed and navigation capabilities. Waymo stated that the chip boasts computing power exceeding 1000 TOPS and is manufactured using TSMC's 5-nanometer process.
