[Analysis: Bitcoin Unaffected by AI Sell-Off, but Fed's Key Meeting May Determine Next Direction]
According to CoinDesk, Bitcoin held steady around $65,000 on Monday, rising approximately 4% over the past few days, while Ethereum reached a nearly two-month high. Meanwhile, AI-related tech stocks faced downward pressure. Analysts suggest that this week's Federal Reserve policy decision, inflation data, and major tech earnings reports will determine whether Bitcoin can break out of its months-long trading range or retreat to its June lows.
A market strategist at LMAX Group stated that the resilience of the crypto market during traditional market volatility is encouraging, supporting the view that digital assets are beginning to decouple from traditional risk assets. Technically, Bitcoin needs to break above $67,300 to exit the consolidation range it has been in since June, while Ethereum faces a key resistance level at $2,000. Bitmine Chairman Tom Lee noted that the ETH/BTC ratio has risen to a three-month high, signaling a bullish trend.
