[Visa Pilots Stablecoin Payment Method Using Fiat Currency for U.S. Businesses] Payment giant Visa has announced the launch of a pilot program in the United States, allowing businesses to use fiat currency accounts (such as USD) to pay dollar-pegged stablecoins (such as USDC) to crypto wallets. This service is implemented through the Visa Direct digital payment network, aiming to provide more convenient cash flow for industries reliant on fast payments, such as international businesses and freelancers. Visa President Chris Newkirk stated that this move is intended to enable global fund circulation in 'minutes' rather than 'days.' Currently, Visa is collaborating with select partners and plans to further expand the service by 2026. According to Visa research, 57% of freelancers prefer digital payment methods for faster access to funds.
