Scrolled through my timeline and saw this post. Looks like a lot of projects are doing this kind of marketing tonight . It starts with an apology, but the more you read, the more you realize it’s just PR. Honestly, I thought I’d only see this kind of thing on Kuaishou/Douyin: 'Sorry, our product is just too popular!'
This kind of fake apology marketing/sarcastic humblebrag is actually a reverse psychology marketing strategy. It starts with an apology or self-blame to create negative expectations, grab the reader’s attention, and then flips it to reveal positive content, essentially promoting the advantages of a product or service.
What’s interesting is that this copy leverages psychological mechanisms—people are naturally drawn to negative information. But personally, I think it would work better if the copy was shorter. After all, it’s already a bandwagon-style post, and writing it so long kind of defeats the purpose of driving engagement and discussion.
Also, I checked out @ArchNtwrk’s article, which introduced RWA tokenization and Fi applications on BTC, like bridge-free RWA settlement. And of course, they ended it with 'Sorry, we’re just too good at what we do' .
