Binance @binancezh has launched US stock options, the kind with physical delivery. At expiration, you actually get the stock, not a CFD. The stocks are held in custody for Binance users by Alpaca, a licensed clearing broker in the US. The rules are more conservative than I expected: you can only buy Calls/Puts, no selling to open positions, so no naked shorting. The maximum loss is just the premium—you know your worst-case loss upfront, and there’s no risk of liquidation. In the first phase, only limit orders are supported. Premiums can be paid directly in U, BNB, USDT, USDC, or USD1, no need to convert currencies. You can open positions without redeeming funds from flexible savings. Trading hours follow the US stock market: 9:30 AM–4:00 PM ET, with some ETFs trading until 4:15 PM. No pre-market or after-hours trading. I think the most practical use case is hedging your positions. If you hold bStocks or have large US stock exposure, you can buy a Put. The cost is just the premium, and your risk is locked in advance. How to enable: Complete the options suitability test and sign the disclaimer → Go to the "Trade" section at the bottom of the app → Tap "Stocks" at the top → Open the stock’s candlestick chart page → Tap the "Options" tab → Select expiration date and strike price → Place a limit order. If the "Options" tab isn’t visible on a stock’s candlestick chart page, it means options for that stock aren’t available yet.
