Binance @binancezh has added US stock options to the mix—this is definitely worth paying attention to!
The truly interesting part about this isn’t just having another trading product, but how Binance’s TradFi offerings are slowly forming a complete tool stack, making its ecosystem even richer!
In the past, crypto users who wanted to trade US stocks often had to switch between different platforms. Now, from crypto to stocks/ETFs, bStocks, TradFi perpetuals, and US stock options, the boundaries are gradually being broken down.
If you look at these products individually, they actually solve different problems: spot trading is better for gaining asset exposure, perps provide leverage and two-way trading, while options further expand the space for non-linear strategies.
At least from a product logic perspective, this isn’t just about “adding another ticker.” It’s about gradually integrating different markets and strategies into a single account.
Of course, options don’t mean reduced risk. For now, Binance only supports buying options in the first phase. The buyer’s maximum loss is limited to the premium paid, but that premium could be entirely lost. You also need to fully understand physical settlement, exercise rules, and expiration handling before participating.
What I’m more curious about is how far this trend of cross-asset integration will go.
In the past, we searched for different platforms for different assets. Now, it’s increasingly about finding different tools on the same platform.
Why run around when Binance has it all? Binance.
