[YC-backed AI Training Data Company AfterQuery Completes New Funding Round, Valuation Reaches $3.2 Billion]
According to TechCrunch, AI training data startup AfterQuery has completed a new funding round, bringing its valuation to $3.2 billion. This comes just five months after it raised $30 million in a Series A round at a $300 million valuation in April, marking a valuation increase of over 10x. According to Y Combinator partner Gustaf Alströmer, this is the fastest startup in YC history to achieve unicorn status from its founding. The founders of AfterQuery are only 22 and 23 years old and participated in YC's Winter 2025 batch just 18 months ago. In April, the company announced an annualized revenue of $100 million, with clients including NVIDIA, Legora, and South Korea's AI lab Motif Technologies.
