Wu Blockchain has learned that the Sui ecosystem DeFi protocol Full Sail has announced it will shut down operations and exit in an orderly manner. The team explained that on August 29, attackers exploited a signature control vulnerability in the Move language implementation of the oracle project Switchboard. By publishing fake quotes deviating from market prices by about 100 times, they manipulated vault deposits and withdrawals, resulting in the theft of approximately $91,000 from three Full Sail vaults. Additionally, the Switchboard oracle incident caused Virtue Protocol to suffer liquidation losses of about $455,000.
