[Guangzhou Nansha Launches 'International Data Port' Pilot, Exploring New Paths for 'Foreign Data, Domestic Computing' and 'Token Going Global']
According to a report by Southern Finance Omnimedia Group, the Guangzhou pilot for international cooperation in the national data sector has been launched in Nansha. Guangzhou is building a four-in-one international data cooperation system—'infrastructure, rules, carriers, and ecosystem'—with Nansha as the core bearing area, promoting data collaboration among Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau.
At the event, the 'Data Processing Factory' and 'Token Going Global' business models were unveiled. Through localized deployment of large models and physical isolation of server cabinets, the 'Foreign Data, Domestic Computing' concept is realized. Additionally, a 'Token Loan' product was introduced, using token output and computing power contracts as credit bases.
The Guangzhou Data Exchange signed international data cooperation agreements with Xinhua Holdings, Singapore's Yande Group, and others. Meanwhile, Diandong Digital Technology announced plans to build a 10,000 PAI intelligent computing cluster in Nansha, with a total investment exceeding 4 billion yuan and a planned computing power of 10,000P. Simultaneously, the Nansha District People's Congress introduced a smart city resolution to provide legal support for the 'International Data Port.'
