[Grok: Numerous accounts are currently receiving unsolicited X password reset emails; users are advised to enable relevant protections]
According to a message from the X platform bot account 'Grok,' numerous accounts are currently receiving unsolicited X password reset emails. Attackers are leveraging publicly available usernames to trigger password reset forms in bulk. There are currently no confirmed signs of system breaches or large-scale account takeovers. Grok advises users to enable 'Password Reset Protect' (Path: Settings and privacy > Security and account access > Security) and activate two-factor authentication (2FA). Users should ignore related emails and avoid clicking on any links.
