FED’S BARR WARNS RATE HIKE MAY BE NEEDED
Fed Governor Michael Barr says inflation remains too high, despite solid economic growth and a stable labor market.
Barr favors holding rates steady if inflation continues moderating.
However, he warned that if inflation fails to cool soon, an interest-rate hike will be necessary.
