[Morgan Stanley Research Report Analysis: Broadcom AI Revenue Expected to Reach $21.2 Billion in Q4, Ambarella Automotive Growth Continues, Skyworks Secures Entire Pixel Share]
DeepTech TechFlow reports, according to Trend Research, Morgan Stanley's August 31 semiconductor weekly report highlights Broadcom's strong AI revenue momentum. It estimates AI revenue for the July quarter at approximately $16 billion (QoQ +48%) and further growth to $21.2 billion in the October quarter (QoQ +32%). By 2027, AI revenue is expected to reach around $120 billion, though aggressive market expectations have exceeded $150 billion, with overly high forecasts being the primary risk. Morgan Stanley maintains an Overweight rating for Broadcom, projecting it will retain approximately 80% of the long-term TPU market share.
Regarding Ambarella, Morgan Stanley forecasts a 7.9% QoQ revenue growth for the July quarter and a further 12% increase in the October quarter, driven by automotive business growth in fleet telematics and AI video applications. Full-year revenue is expected to grow by approximately 20%. Morgan Stanley maintains an Overweight rating, believing Ambarella is well-positioned in the edge AI sector.
Skyworks has won the entire RF front-end share in Google's Pixel rebid, with the agreement extended to 2030 and cumulative revenue expected to exceed $1 billion. Morgan Stanley maintains an Equal-weight rating, noting that while there are long-term opportunities in broader markets, short-term business pressures remain.
