[Institution: September Fed Rate Hike Remains Uncertain, Caution Maintained for Long-Term Bond Investments] Reported by Jinse Finance, on September 1, Thomas Hempell, Head of Macro and Market Research at Generali Asset Management, stated in a report that the September Federal Reserve rate hike remains a balanced judgment, prompting the institution to maintain caution regarding long-term bond investments. Hempell noted that in terms of policy rates, the decision for the Fed to raise rates once after the midterm elections is relatively tight. The stickier performance of core PCE inflation in July, coupled with the hawkish remarks by Fed Chair Kevin Warsh at the Jackson Hole meeting, has increased the risk of an earlier rate hike. Generali Asset Management continues to exercise caution with long-term bond investments and expects long-term Treasury yields to remain range-bound. However, the risks facing U.S. long-term yields still lean toward the upside. (Jin10)
