[Iran Revolutionary Guard: Current Priority is Deterrence, Not War or Negotiation]
Golden Finance reports that on September 1, according to Iran's Press TV, senior military commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Mohammad Reza Naqdi, stated that amidst the ongoing U.S.-Iran confrontation, Iran's primary strategy is to establish maximum deterrence rather than reigniting military conflict or negotiating with the enemy. Naqdi noted that after approximately six months of war, Iran is considering transitioning to a more offensive phase of military confrontation targeting the U.S. and Israel.
Naqdi further stated: 'What we have engaged in so far has been conventional warfare; we have not yet entered the asymmetric warfare phase. Asymmetric warfare means waging war on Wall Street, in Manhattan, at any location, at any time. Most of the current Iranian commanders prefer and lean toward offensive thinking.'
He added that all weapon production facilities damaged during recent wars have been rebuilt in highly secure locations and are now operating with new advanced technologies at higher productivity levels.
