This article and the Axis Robotics whitepaper/docs are essentially focused on one thing:
By 2026, the AI industry will have solved the computing power problem, but the next-gen physical AI/robotics industry will lack the massive data support it needs.
The problem is, collecting real-world human data is expensive and hard to scale for industrialization.
That’s where Axis Robotics’ “data loop” solution comes in:
1️⃣ Generate tasks and scenarios
2️⃣ Simulate remote sensing operations ➕ collect real user behavior data
3️⃣ Process trajectories
4️⃣ Train and deploy strategies
5️⃣ Gather model errors, analyze specific issues, and decide what tasks and data to release for the next round
Currently, there are three products:
1. Web-based simulation data platform (operable directly in your browser)
2. First-person data collection mobile app (not launched yet, planned for release this year)
3. Unified processing pipeline for data-to-model
What role does crypto play here?
Axis uses on-chain records (mainly on the Base chain) to trace every qualified trajectory, binding each one to the contributor’s wallet and data quality, etc.
The goal isn’t to issue tokens but to solve the problem of identifying who contributed what and assessing the quality of their contributions.
