Previously, the network was paused due to an emergency consensus action by validators aimed at protecting users from the impact of a vulnerability in the Tectonic protocol. The chain state has been rolled back to before the Tectonic incident, with block production resuming from block 90,896,189. Node operators can now use the latest mainnet snapshot to upgrade to Cronos v1.7.8 and restart their nodes. The official statement noted that the chain is still under observation to confirm stability, and the restoration of certain protocols, RPC service providers, explorers, and cross-chain bridges may take longer.
