According to CoinDesk, data from Galaxy Research shows that six Bitcoin wallets, inactive since 2011 to 2014, transferred a total of 553.59 BTC between August 16 and 26, worth approximately $40 million. One of these wallets had been dormant for over 15 years. Five wallets transferred BTC to addresses not associated with known exchanges, while another wallet sent 40 BTC to German crypto custody and trading service provider Boerse Stuttgart Digital. Therefore, these transfers don’t necessarily indicate sales. Galaxy Digital’s Head of Research, Alex Thorn, stated that on-chain activity of dormant Bitcoin dropped to its lowest level since Q3 2022 during this year’s second quarter, and it’s estimated that the total transfer volume in 2026 will be less than half of last year’s. https://(wublock123.com)/news/6-bitcoin-wallets-old-10-years-moved-553-59-btc-67446
