[Ministry of Commerce Responds to U.S. Tariff Increase, Central Bank Conducts Consecutive Reverse Repos]
Deep Tide TechFlow reports that on August 28, according to Jin10 Data, the Ministry of Commerce responded to the U.S. proposal to impose an additional 7.5% tariff on Chinese goods. The central bank has conducted overnight reverse repo operations for six consecutive days to maintain liquidity stability.
According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, from January to July, industrial enterprises above a designated size nationwide achieved a year-on-year profit growth of 17.6%, maintaining a stable industrial performance.
In the capital markets, the plan for China International Capital Corporation (CICC) to acquire and merge Dongxing Securities and Cinda Securities through share swaps has been approved by the Shanghai Stock Exchange's Restructuring Committee.
Informed sources pointed out that unprofitable companies are not categorically barred from listing, but the review requirements are stricter. The Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX) responded that it is continuously studying optimization measures for listing mechanisms, including the potential merger of the Growth Enterprise Market (GEM) and the Main Board.
