According to data compiled by Wu Blockchain, the circulating supply of USDT and USDC returned to net growth in August 2026, with a monthly increase of approximately $1.7 billion, ending three consecutive months of net contraction. From May to July, the supply decreased by about $2.6 billion, $6 billion, and $2.2 billion, respectively. Historical data shows that when the monthly increase of major stablecoins exceeds $10 billion, it usually corresponds to a strong liquidity expansion. At the end of 2021 and 2024, monthly increases exceeded $18 billion, and during the 2025 bull market phase, increases frequently ranged between $8 billion and $12 billion. In comparison, the current increase of about $1.7 billion remains at a relatively low level. During the same period, BTC has rebounded from around $60,000 to near $80,000, but the stablecoin supply growth has not yet returned to the levels seen in previous upward cycles. Currently, it appears closer to an initial recovery after a liquidity bottom rather than the start of a new large-scale capital expansion. https://(wublock123.com)/news/usdt-usdc-circulation-rebounds-august-increases-1-7b-67334
