Insurance is purchased separately for each reward pool and each round, with its price dynamically adjusted based on registrations and the previous round’s success rate. And there’s another benefit for the community: 94% of Insurance purchases go directly into the Marathon reward pool, increasing the potential rewards for successful finishers. 👥 A better way to compete together Marathon doesn’t have to be a solo challenge anymore. Season 3 introduces a much deeper Team experience. Create or join a team, customize it with your own name, logo, banner, and description, and follow your teammates throughout the competition. Team leaders can also send notices and daily reminders, while members can react to team updates. It’s designed to make staying consistent a shared effort. Encourage each other, keep your teammates accountable, and compete together. Your enhanced Marathon Profile brings your history, achievements, stats, and performance together in one place. The more you participate, the more your profile becomes a record of your Marathon journey. ⏱️ A clearer daily experience One of our biggest focuses for Season 3 was making Marathon easier to understand day to day. The refreshed challenge interface gives you a clearer view of your daily challenge progress, remaining Energy requirement, Insurance status, and Auto-join settings. There’s also a daily countdown timer, so you always know exactly how much time you have left to complete your activity before the next day begins. Less guesswork, fewer accidental misses, and a much clearer view of where you stand. 🚀 More flexibility when joining a round Missed the start of a round? You now have a little more flexibility. Rounds begin at 12 AM UTC, but registration remains open for another 12 hours, until 12 PM UTC on the first day.
