That legendary analyst AG Thorson, who once called for a $120 target when silver was at $94 and nailed the gold bottom in June, has shared his latest insights: Bitcoin peaked on 8/25.
He believes gold has rallied nearly 20% since its mid-term bottom and could face a one-to-two-week pullback at any time.
I still remember Thorson's most impressive call—predicting silver would surge to $120 before crashing 30%-50%. Later, silver hit a high of $121.67, followed by a rapid pullback of over 30%. His track record speaks for itself.
As for when the pullback officially begins? His confirmation signal is: gold closing below $4,500 consecutively.
That said, Thorson remains bullish on silver in the long term. After the pullback ends, he expects silver to challenge $120-$140 again in extreme market conditions.
Now, about Bitcoin—this is where it gets interesting:
Short-term, there’s one last push, but mid-term, he’s still bearish, predicting the final shakeout between September and October.
His take:
This rally feels more like the “last hurrah” in a bear market.
Short-term cycle likely peaked around August 25-26 (which does seem to be a local high).
Afterward, Bitcoin could drop below $50K.
Extreme downside target: near $40K.
Ultimately, it may form a four-year cycle bottom around October.
