🚨Major US agencies were targeted. DOJ says a China state-sponsored group’s intrusion activity hit NASA, the Federal Reserve, DOE, DOJ, HHS, NIH, and the U.S. Senate. For years, the operators routed attacks through hacked smart devices worldwide so the trail would not lead back to China. Today the DOJ and FBI seized the infrastructure and pulled the domains hardcoded into the malware, making the QScan/QTRouter platform inoperable. This is the fourth time since 2023 the US has dismantled a Chinese hacking platform. Probably won’t be the last.(Lark Davis)
