Glassnode: Short Liquidations Drive Bitcoin Rebound, $81K–$86K as Key Resistance
According to a Glassnode report, August 19 saw the largest single-day short liquidation for Bitcoin since 2019, driving a 26% rebound from mid-August lows. During the same period, U.S. spot ETFs recorded a weekly net inflow of $2.23 billion, while BTC continued to flow out of exchanges, signaling an overall accumulation trend in the market.
The report highlights $81K–$86K as the current key supply zone, with an upper test level at $83,300 and support levels at $70,000 and $62,000–$65,000. If the price stabilizes above $83,300 and ETF inflows persist, it could indicate that resistance is gradually being absorbed.
