BlackRock just revealed Bitcoin's true 'super bull market playbook': U.S. national debt has hit $40 trillion!
BlackRock's Head of Digital Assets: For Bitcoin, regulation is no longer the biggest variable. The real issue is the U.S.'s increasingly out-of-control debt and deficits.
U.S. federal debt just surpassed $40 trillion—back in 2017, it was less than half of that.
The bigger problem? This isn’t debt that’s meant to be paid off. It’s a machine that can only keep running by borrowing more, paying interest, and expanding the balance sheet.
What the market is really worried about isn’t whether the U.S. will default, but whether the debt will eventually be diluted through higher inflation, lower real interest rates, and weaker currency purchasing power.
This is why BlackRock talks about BTC and gold together. Gold bets that governments can’t print gold; Bitcoin bets that governments can’t print BTC. The older generation bought gold when they worried about currency devaluation, but now more and more young money and institutions are expressing the same concern through Bitcoin.
So, BTC’s biggest bull is the U.S. Treasury, with its debt counter that never stops ticking.
As long as zeros keep getting added after that $40 trillion, Bitcoin’s core narrative is far from over.
