On September 15, Crypto is set to face the most critical 60-vote threshold in the U.S. Senate, and Polymarket's approval odds have dropped to 14%! Former House Financial Services Committee Chair Patrick McHenry: September 15 will be a good day for cryptocurrency. When asked whether the *CLARITY Act* could pass before the midterm elections, his response was straightforward: 'I think it will.' Currently, Republicans hold only 53 seats. Even if all Republicans support it, they still need at least 7 votes from Democrats or Independents. If this 60-vote threshold is reached, it will be a game-changer—it would prove that crypto market structure legislation has truly crossed the bipartisan divide. McHenry said something I found particularly interesting. Having been in Washington for over 20 years, he noted that if everyone reaches an agreement too early before a vote, it might not actually be a good sign. Now, with senators starting to complain, argue, and pull in different directions, he believes this is a sign that the final deal is taking shape. After all, this bill already passed the House last year with a 294-134 vote and cleared the Senate Banking Committee this May with a 15-9 vote. The only step left is the full Senate vote. This might just be the most important congressional vote for Crypto this year.
