《Three-in-One Trading System|BTC Morning Market Analysis》
--- Price consolidating at high levels, waiting for Friday's speech by Waller?
Hey fam, two things happened last night: PCE exceeded expectations, and Nvidia's earnings report passed but wasn’t explosive. BTC pulled back from above 81,000 earlier this week and is now consolidating around 78,600. What’s next for the weekend? It depends on tomorrow night’s tone from Fed Chair Waller.
PCE: 3.7%, same as last month, higher than the expected 3.6%. The rate-cut narrative is temporarily off the table, with a 38% chance of a rate hike in September. Some bearish sentiment has been digested, but U.S. bond yields are at 4.66%, and the dollar has rebounded to 99.17, still putting pressure on BTC.
On-chain data: Long-term holders are consistently taking profits near 81,000. U.S. spot demand remains weak, and Coinbase premiums are negative. In the short term, buying power isn’t strong enough to offset selling pressure.
Support: 77,000-77,500 is the first line of defense, 76,000 is strong support, and 73,500 is the mid-term structural dividing line. If the price really drops to above 73,500, consider scaling in gradually—it’ll be hard for it to fall below 70,000 again unless there’s major bearish news.
Resistance above: 81,500-82,500.
Tomorrow night’s speech by Waller is the last variable of the week. Dovish → short-term rebound; hawkish → triggers a pullback. Most likely, there won’t be a clear direction.
Focus on the pullback first, then talk about a breakout.
Let’s wait and see.
