BlockBeats News, August 27, 'The Big Short' prototype Michael Burry disclosed his latest holdings, revealing that he bought Nvidia (NVDA) long positions as a hedge while also increasing his Nvidia short positions. Additionally, he expanded short positions in Oracle (ORCL), Palantir (PLTR), Nebius (NBIS), and Caterpillar (CAT). On the long side, Burry increased his holdings in Birkenstock (BIRK) in the mid-$30 range and in Freddie Mac (FMCC) in the mid-$5 range. Burry stated that his stock short positions now account for over 21% of his portfolio, and this figure does not yet include put options. He noted that the scale of his put option positions is difficult to quantify simply, as these options are typically deep out-of-the-money, far from expiration, and represent asymmetric, high-leverage directional strategies, though their current market value is relatively low.
