[Iranian Official: Inspections of All Attacked Nuclear Facilities Must Be Approved by Iranian Parliament]
Golden Finance reported on August 27 that Mohammad Eslami, the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, stated that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) must obtain legal approval from the Iranian Parliament and establish corresponding regulations before inspecting any nuclear facilities that have suffered military attacks. He noted that all Iranian nuclear facilities previously subjected to military attacks had already been registered with the IAEA and undergone inspections. The agency's failure to condemn these attacks has raised questions about its capability and independence. The U.S. and Israel are pressuring the agency to visit damaged Iranian nuclear facilities with the aim of assessing the outcomes of their military strikes. Until the security regulations stipulated by Iranian parliamentary law are established, Iran will not accept the agency's requests to inspect these facilities. (CCTV News)
