**[Nvidia Earnings Preview: Q2 Revenue Expected to Nearly Double to $92.17 Billion, Market Focuses on AI Chip Demand and Supply Chain Pressure]**
Odaily Planet Daily News – Nvidia will release its fiscal 2026 second-quarter earnings report after the U.S. stock market closes. According to analyst forecasts compiled by LSEG, the company’s quarterly earnings per share are expected to be $2.10, with revenue projected to reach $92.17 billion. The market anticipates Nvidia’s revenue to nearly double compared to $46.7 billion in the same period last year, continuing the rapid growth driven by the wave of investment in artificial intelligence infrastructure.
As a core supplier of AI computing power, Nvidia GPUs are widely used for training and running advanced AI models. The company is also actively involved in supporting the construction of next-generation AI data centers through financing and other means. However, after nearly three years of significant growth, investor expectations for Nvidia have become more cautious. As of Tuesday’s close, Nvidia shares have risen approximately 14% this year, slightly outperforming the Nasdaq index.
Key market concerns include pressure from competitors such as AMD and Google, as well as rising costs caused by the global shortage of memory chips. Nvidia is currently in a new product cycle, with its latest Vera Rubin AI system already being delivered to customers like Microsoft and OpenAI. Investors will closely monitor the sales progress, supply status, and future AI computing power demand outlook for the Rubin and Blackwell series chips.
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang previously stated that the current product cycle based on the Blackwell and Vera Rubin architectures is expected to generate cumulative sales of $1 trillion by 2027. The company will hold its earnings conference call at 5 p.m. Eastern Time. (CNBC)
