Google Cloud Launches Gemini Enterprise to Help Businesses Reduce and Control AI Usage Costs

Deep Tide TechFlow reports that on August 26, Google Cloud introduced a new tool to help businesses lower and manage AI usage costs. Gemini Enterprise will feature a pay-as-you-go model, allowing companies to avoid fixed subscription fees and set monthly spending limits. Once the budget is exhausted, AI agents will pause operations. Customers committing to long-term usage can receive discounts ranging from 10% to 20%, while tasks scheduled during off-peak hours may enjoy discounts of up to 50%. Google (GOOG.O) stated that this initiative aims to enable businesses to trial AI at lower costs and expand the enterprise AI market.
