[Huawei Bids to Build AI Data Center for Egyptian Government, Prompting U.S. to Form Consortium in Response] According to Bloomberg, Huawei has submitted a proposal to the Egyptian government to build an AI data center within 12 months. The plan includes exporting 1,408 Ascend 950 series chips for training the cloud platform and providing an additional 600 Ascend 950 or 910B chips for two inference clusters.
