‘Altcoins are dead’ has become the politically correct stance in the crypto industry. The Wizard is one of the few still optimistic about the altcoin sector, and so is Old Fish. Even though they’ve been criticized like crazy and altcoins have tanked hard, Old Fish still believes that for ordinary people, the only way to turn things around is through altcoins. Take Short Bird as an example—if the altcoin you pick isn’t too obscure or niche, it’ll take off when the bull market comes. The key is to avoid leverage as much as possible and make sure you stay in the game no matter what. Without altcoins, crypto wouldn’t be crypto. From a profit perspective, if there were no altcoins, how would those new institutions make money? They can’t all just go launch a few memes, right? Altcoins won’t die; it’s just that the cycles keep repeating themselves.
