The initiative aims to collect real-world task data from global users to build a training data system for robots that encompasses the real world. Index currently covers 108 countries and regions, with over 264,000 downloads, more than 44,000 weekly active users, and over 16 million uploaded videos. The company has paid creators over $15 million in rewards. Figure stated that it plans to invest over $1 billion in data and computational resources over the next 12 months.
