The next Ethereum hard fork, Glamsterdam, will adjust gas pricing. A few contracts need to be modified in advance, or they might break directly. The Ethereum Glamsterdam upgrade will make 'writing state, reading state' more expensive. Most contracts are fine; those that hardcoded gas numbers in their code will face issues. Regular ETH holders don’t need to do anything—just wait for wallets and protocols to catch up.
