According to Bloomberg, Binance has hired two senior compliance executives from CryptoCom to strengthen its compliance team. Antonio Alvarez will serve as the deputy to Binance Chief Compliance Officer Noah Perlman, while Duncan DeVille will take on the role of Global Head of Financial Crime Compliance. Both previously worked at CryptoCom and bring compliance experience from organizations such as Coinbase, Visa, Western Union, and the U.S. Treasury Department. This personnel change comes amid a backdrop of multiple compliance staff departures at Binance over the past year and ongoing regulatory scrutiny. In 2023, Binance reached a $4.3 billion settlement with U.S. authorities for failing to maintain an effective anti-money laundering compliance system and has since been ramping up its compliance efforts. https://(wublock123.com)/news/binance-hires-2-senior-compliance-execs-from-cryptocom-67204
