US NEW HOME SALES SLUMP 10.5% IN JULY US single-family new home sales fell 10.5% in July to an annualized 607,000 units, below the 620,000 expected. Supply rose sharply to 9.6 months, from 8.5 months in June. Homes for sale increased to 488,000, from 479,000.
