The closer we get to major macro events (like Wednesday's PCE and Friday's Waller speech), the geopolitical landscape starts releasing positive expectations for Bitcoin. Today, oil prices—WTI even briefly dropped below $82, currently fluctuating around $82.5. Next, we’ll keep an eye on the situation in the Strait, the progress of U.S.-Iran negotiations, and whether there’s any substantial softening of U.S. sanctions on Iran. Personally, since the officials mentioned a major breakthrough and oil prices have already fallen from $85 to $82 as we approach Waller’s speech, this optimistic outlook should continue to manifest. In other words, oil prices might continue to decline. Holding onto my BZ short position, which has already turned profitable. CL is at $80.2, still a bit off—hoping for more positive expectations. As for Bitcoin, it surged and then pulled back today. Let’s see if $785 can hold. But with so many macro events this week, volatility is likely to be high. Since it already hit $81, it probably won’t end so easily. Plus, with geopolitical expectations easing, let’s see if it fluctuates within the $78–82 range or if there’s some grid trading opportunity to play around with. DYOR
