The realest blogger here—after making a big win, I’ve started losing small amounts here and there. Sometimes it’s not that I don’t want to take profit; it’s just that the target hasn’t been hit yet, and then I get stopped out. Stops are set decisively. BTC is in such an awkward spot right now—there’s justification for both going long and short. If you say it’s strong, it faces selling pressure every time it pushes up a bit. If you say it’s weak, there’s support every time it dips. It’s like chicken ribs: tasteless to eat, but a pity to throw away. Go long? The upside hasn’t opened up yet, so jumping in now is just carrying the bags for the big players. Go short? There’s obvious support below, so forcing a short is just asking to get wrecked. The whole “time for space” thing doesn’t really align with the aesthetics of aggressive trading. So right now, my state is this: testing trades back and forth, taking small losses back and forth. Not losing much, but it’s super annoying. I get it. The equity curve went from steeply rising to gently sliding down. The drop isn’t big, but it’s enough to wake you up. Big money is made by waiting, but most people die on the road to waiting. As for BTC right now, without some consolidation for a while, it’s hard to see a big trend forming. The big players need time to create space, to shake out the weak hands, to make both bulls and bears lose patience. And for us short-term traders, this is the phase where we get repeatedly harvested. But I still want to say this: losing small amounts isn’t scary. What’s scary is losing small amounts, then losing your cool, going all-in, revenge trading, and then losing big. What I can do now is this: when I lose small amounts, I stop, light a cigarette, and tell myself, ‘It’s okay to slow down during this phase.’ So yeah, awkward is awkward. The realest blogger is the one who, after making big money, can calmly face the phase of losing small amounts and still laugh about it with you all. Once this consolidation phase is over and a new trend emerges, we’ll go in again! #BTC #CryptoTrading #PatienceIsKey
