Even though I took a huge loss on those hype contracts...
At least I'm holding my spot positions steady.
Gotta say, hype contracts are really no fun to play with.
Got wrecked so bad I had to step away from the market for a while
I've been reflecting too—chasing the perfect entry price means super low win rates.
Plus, keeping initial positions leveraged at 2-3x,
and then randomly trying to roll positions up to 5x or more...
It just led to constant trial and error, constant losses. The cost of testing positions was way too high...
Maybe I should just stick to low-leverage limit orders in the future?
Wait for confirmation on the right side before scaling up to 2-3x?
Then either ride a wave for some solid gains,
or take a massive -30% to -50% hit on the account?
Seems like the top traders these past few years all follow this style...
Only the big, long-term trends with "long slopes and thick snow" are really suited for rolling positions.
But opportunities like that barely come around once a year these days...
Guess I'll just stick to swing trading—buy low, sell high, and keep the leverage low.
That seems way more reasonable~
Lastly, I just wanna say...
HYPE is not stopping at $120!
