Wu Blockchain reports that Strategy founder Michael Saylor has published a long article titled *The Bitcoin Reformation*, arguing that Bitcoin is evolving further from 'peer-to-peer electronic cash' into global 'digital capital.' Its success does not require the disappearance of fiat currencies, banks, governments, or traditional finance. Saylor believes self-custody should be a right, not an obligation, and that tools like ETFs, publicly traded company stocks, bonds, preferred shares, and derivatives—so-called 'paper Bitcoin'—are part of Bitcoin's financialization as long as their rights structure and collateral relationships are transparent. In the future, Bitcoin is more likely to become the underlying reserve asset supporting equity, credit, currency, and derivative systems.
